Sherry Kendrick has lived in Naples for 24 years with her husband, Mike. They have 3 children. Jay is married to Kellie and they attend Covenant as well. Abby goes to college and lives in Orlando. Nathan is a junior at Gulf Coast High school. Sherry joined the Covenant staff as Childrens Ministry Direction in June 2010. She has over 20 years experience in Christian education, childrens ministry and public school elementary education.
Pastor John K. Summers holds a B.S. degree in Bible and an N. D. Dr. of Naturopathy as a Master Herbalist. He has served as a church planter, evangelist, and pastor for 62 years. For 43 of those years he served as the senior pastor of the Ovid Community Church in Anderson, IN. Now he directs the Visitation and Senior Ministries of Covenant. John, his wife Betty, and their son, Paul, are beloved members of Covenant. In his free time John enjoys music and gardening, and pursues a life long interest in herbs.
Bill coordinates volunteer support for the ministries of Covenant, as well as recruiting, developing and connecting people to ministry opportunities and the life of the church. Bill joined the staff as executive assistant to Dr. Bob Petterson in December of 2003. At Covenant, Bill has served in other capacities such as Children's Ministry Director and Music & Worship Director. He has facilitated conferences on topics of culture, media and arts locally and nationally. He has served as director of Christian Education in New York, supporting over 25 congregations and providing consultation to local ministries. Bill has a passion for missions and ministry to artists.
Dr. Taylor Ferranti received an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the Boston Conservatory, and a Doctoral degree in Vocal Performance/Voice Science from Louisiana State University. For three years he served as the Associate Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church, Baton Rouge. For the past seven years, Taylor has served as an Associate Professor of Music at Cedarville University in Ohio.
John Hunter and his wife, Kathy, have been apart of Covenant since 1998. John became Covenants Executive Director in October 2005 after a finishing a long business career in the chemical industry. John possesses a deep faith in the Lord, a warm heart for people, and a wealth of experience which serve well the administrative and organizational needs of Covenant and its ministries.
Harriette Noller is the Business Manager for Covenant Church. Before joining the Covenant team, Harriette enjoyed a successful career in business. She and her husband, Jack, moved to Naples from Miami in 2002. Before that she resided in Fort Worth, Texas.
Judy Caldwell has been serving as apart of our administrative team since 2007 and is a graduate from the University of Akron. Judy served as a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio for 15 years before moving to Naples in 2001. She is married to Doug. Together they consider their 4 children Gods greatest blessings.
Charlene is a member of the Administrative team at Covenant and occasionally counsels at Hope Counseling Center. She and her husband, Ryan, are striving to bring up their three little ones in the ways of the Lord, surrounded by a family of grace at Covenant.
Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Sherry and her husband, Roy, began attending Covenant in 1984. They have two grown children. Sherry also serves on Covenants Womens Ministry Team and leads the Praying for Our Children group. Sherry has served on the Covenant staff for a number of years. After taking two years off, we were delighted to have her join us again in September 2006.
Connie Walters is a graduate of The Ohio State University, GO BUCKEYES! She moved to Naples in 1976 with husband, Dale and daughter, Carrie Hope. Since that time they have added two more daughters, Amanda Faith and Charity Grace, and one son, Joshua, to their family. Connie has been the administrative assistant at two Country Clubs in Naples and one other church. She is so happy to be here as Covenants Church Secretary!
