Before joining Covenant, Chris served faithfully as a hospital chaplain in New Jersey and later as an assistant pastor at New Providence Presbyterian Church. In 2019, he and his family moved to Naples, where he stepped into the role of Shepherding Pastor. Today, Chris guides all of the ministries of Covenant, ensuring they stay rooted in our vision and mission. He provides leadership across Care Ministries, Children and Students Ministry, Christian Education, the Diaconate, Men’s and Women’s Ministry, and Shepherding, which includes our small groups.
Before joining Covenant in 2018, Brent served in pastoral ministry in both Indiana and California, focusing on missions, outreach, and discipleship. A native of North Carolina, he also spent nine years teaching East Asian history at Valparaiso University. Today, Brent leads Covenant's outreach and missions efforts, teaching, developing, and equipping disciples for mission work, as well as building strong partnerships that help to share the gospel in our community and world.
