He joined the Covenant staff in 2010 and served as an Associate Pastor until becoming Senior Pastor in January 2017. He enjoys playing tennis, running, and going on adventures with his wife and three children. He is the author of 2 Corinthians in the Reformed Expository Commentary series and also The Rhythm of Discipleship: Living as Fully Devoted Followers of Christ.

You can follow his teaching ministry on his YouTube channel here and on his blog at www.trentcasto.com.
Prior to joining Covenant in 2018, Brent served in pastoral ministry at Calvary Church in Valparaiso, Indiana and Northpoint Evangelical Free Church in Corona, California in missions, outreach  and discipleship roles. Brent is a native of North Carolina, is married to Eirini, a native of Greece and they have two children, Aliki and Theodore. Before being called to ministry, he taught East Asian history at Valparaiso University for nine years. Brent enjoys a number of sports (some more proficiently than others but will try any) and international travel. (he hopes to reach 100 countries visited in the next few years).

Brent is called to challenge, strengthen and encourage disciples for the work of outreach and missions. He helps give direction to our outreach and GO missions commitments through teaching and through seeking out and maintaining healthy kingdom partnerships. "It is my prayer and goal that our church will draw people to the Gospel by exemplifying Christ’s love for the lost, by being a visible blessing to our community, and by reaching the unreached with the Good News in obedience to the Great Commission."

Rev. Chris Voorhees

M.Div. Princeton Theological Seminary

Rev. Paul May

Discipleship Pastor

Prior to joining Covenant, Chris served as Chaplain at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ and as assistant pastor for New Providence Presbyterian Church. Chris came to Naples to join the Covenant staff from New Jersey with his wife Sarah in 2019 and have since welcomed their first child. Chris enjoys all things Southwest Florida: pickle ball, tennis, golf and the beaches.

Chris provides a ministry of care and visitation to the congregation which includes a comprehensive contact and visitation plan to effectively minister to the sick, the hospitalized, the shut-in, the bereaved, and those in long-term care facilities using combinations of Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and laity which includes our Stephen Ministry and GriefShare programs. He also has a passion for seeing all members fully assimilated into Covenant Church and responding to the grace God has extended to them by serving the congregation with their time, talent and treasure, as a loving Christian family.
Growing up in Lawrence, Kansas, Paul was catechized into two religions: the one he heard about at church, and Jayhawk Basketball. Then at the age of 17, school friends led him to a relationship with Jesus, and he has had a heart to see others come to faith in Christ ever since. His early walk with Jesus was positively impacted by the Navigators in college, by his pastors as he interned in youth ministry, and by his interactions with staff and campers while working summers at a camp for children and adults with special needs (which happens to be where he and his wife Meaghan first met).

Paul and Meaghan attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, and served churches in South Florida before church planting in South Dakota and in the DC suburbs. They have five very energetic and sweet children, and they love exploring the outdoors together. Paul has a heart to see God’s people experience redemption in their lives and the lives of those around them as He makes all things new. He is thrilled to help catalyze discipleship at Covenant Church of Naples.
