Dear Covenant family,

When we think of the glorious spread of the Christian faith, two countries rarely come to mind: China and Japan. And yet the story of the church cannot be faithfully told without them. Join us for a remarkable journey through East Asia that traces the triumphs and tragedies of Gospel witness across nearly 1,400 years.

We’ll ride the world’s fastest trains through some of its largest cities, from Tokyo’s futuristic tech districts to the ancient palaces and walls of China. Highlights include the incomparable ancient capital of Kyoto, the hidden Christian sites of Nagasaki, the Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall, and the Forbidden City. Along the way, we’ll pause to honor the courageous missionaries who carried the faith to these peoples and the early martyrs who gave their lives for it.

Pastor Brent Whitefield, who has studied and taught Asian Christian history for nearly thirty years, will guide us with insight and context, helping us understand how the vastly different cultures of China and Japan have shaped dramatically different responses to the Gospel, while pointing us toward Christianity’s bright future in the region.

Each day will bring something new as we grow together in encouragement, fellowship, and gratitude to God. We hope you’ll join us!

Toured Europe to explore the people, places, and events that shaped the Protestant Reformation. Visiting sites connected to John Calvin, Martin Luther, and Jan Hus, travelers deepened their understanding of their spiritual heritage while experiencing the rich history and beauty of the region.

Journeyed through Greece and Turkey, exploring the Seven Churches of Revelation and tracing the ministry of the apostle Paul. Highlights included Thessaloniki, Corinth, Athens, Mars Hill, and a Greek Isles cruise to Crete, Santorini, and Patmos, where they discovered the biblical sites that shaped the early church and the spread of the gospel.

Retraced the history of the Protestant Reformation by visiting significant sites across Europe, including Geneva, Edinburgh, London, Wittenberg, and Wartburg Castle. Along the way, they deepened their understanding of the Reformers' legacy, reflected on their spiritual heritage, and experienced the rich history, culture, and beauty of the region.

Explored the biblical world of Greece and Turkey, tracing the ministry of the Apostle Paul and visiting the Seven Churches of Revelation. The journey included significant sites such as Ephesus, Patmos, Corinth, Philippi, Thessaloniki, Meteora, and Athens, along with a Greek Isles cruise to Rhodes, Crete, and Santorini. Through visits to ancient ruins, churches, and historic landmarks, travelers gained a deeper understanding of Scripture, the early church, and Christian history.

Traveled from Egypt to Israel on a two-week discipleship journey through the lands of the Bible. Highlights included the Great Pyramids, Mount Sinai, the Dead Sea, Masada, the Sea of Galilee, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and many of the places where Jesus lived, taught, died, and rose again, providing an unforgettable opportunity to experience the biblical account and deepen their understanding of God's redemptive story.

Experienced a life-changing journey through the Bible Lands, gaining a deeper understanding of Christian history and the life of Jesus. Visited the places where Christ lived, taught, performed miracles, was crucified, and rose from the dead. Highlights included a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, worship in the Garden of Gethsemane, and many other significant biblical sites, creating a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
