VOLUNTEERS

As we prepare to open our new Children and Student building, our ministries are growing and so is our need for adults who are committed to Jesus and who have a desire to disciple the next generation to know Jesus too!  

Anyone who volunteers will need to complete a volunteer application, have a background check and participate in volunteer training.

Adults who have experience with drama/musicals.

Do you have a background in drama or musicals?  We’re looking for people with a love for the arts who will help us disciple our children and students in this area.  This year there will be a VBS drama, a student musical and a children’s musical! Commitment level: one hour a week during the musical season

Preschool helpers and teachers for Sunday morning and Wednesday night

Do you love spending time with the “littles”, our precious preschool group?  We need both teachers and helpers as we teach them about Jesus.  We need help on Sunday morning either in children’s church or in Sunday school.  We also will need help on Wednesday nights starting in September.  Commitment level – 1-2 hours a week in preparation and participation

Elementary helpers and teachers for Sunday morning and Wednesday night

Do you love to watch elementary students grow in their faith and in their love for God’s word.  We need both teachers and helpers we disciple this next generation.  Opportunities to volunteer in Children’s church and Sunday School will happen on Sunday mornings, but we will also need help on Wednesday night starting in September.  Commitment level – 1-2 hours per week in preparation and participation.

Nursery Workers

Who loves playing with a 2 year old or rocking a baby?  Our nursery is growing AGAIN and we need more hands to show God’s love to our babies and toddlers! Commitment level – 1.5 hours every 2 months.

Wednesday night small group leader.

Our students are amazing!  They keep bringing friends to student ministry and we are adding more discipleship groups.  Would you want to be a middle school or high school small group leader?  Let us know you are interested and we’ll start the conversation. Commitment level – 2 hours a week.

Children’s Check In Kiosk & Greeters

We will need volunteers trained to help new families check-in their children to get their safety badges.  We will also need greeters who stay at the check-in desk to answer questions and greet our families each Sunday morning.  Time commitment: 1 hour each month on a Sunday morning.
